It wouldn't be the same roster Fish. Derrick, Exum(Admittedly he doesn't play), Joe, Crowder, we lost Kyle who scares the living daylights out of defenses, Raul, best 3rd string point guard. I think there are too many questions on the depth players we currently have. I only believe in Royce, if Joe leaves.

Those other guys are already gone i thought even without the trade

Dante's not our most athletic player. Mitchell, Green and maybe even Oni are all more athletic than Exum. He's the fastest on the team but definitely not the most athletic.

Good hell... haven’t even hit the season and this bull **** starts.

Gordon is cool and all but Green/Royce/Bojan are going to give us like 80-90% of what he is imo. He’s not some lock down defender. They wouldn’t do that trade and I think Joe might be more in line with our current year goals. Please go to wherever @LoPo went and pitch this deal to him.

I don't like this trade. Chemistry means a ton in this league and Joe is a major part of our chemistry. I don't think Orlando is that interested anyway. With Fultz, they don't need Exum. Plus, Gordon is a franchise cornerstone now on a good contract.

Oni might be more athletic vertically, but he isnt nearly as fast or quick on-ball. Same with Green.

Ranking Exum athletically depends on how you rank athletic ability since Dante is probably the fastest runner and at moving laterally.

Oni has a NBA contract so he will probably play.

Exum would be lucky to have Green's career.

Aaron Gordon. It would address the weakness in defending big wings. He can play 3, 4 and small ball 5 and the Jazz would increase athleticism. Ingles is the 5th best player on the team. Aaron Gordon is the 3rd or 4th best on his team. We have enough three point shooters. Go for more defense and athleticism.

Welcome to the band wagon. I clamored for this trade the last two summers. Lots of people pointed out that the Magic can probably get a better package than what we offer for AG.

Yeah certainly if I was the magic I say no. But they're not contending, and don't need a player like Joe, and it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever for them.

Orlando's holes: SF, 3 pt shooting, facilitating. They absolutely need a player like Joe, but probably not at the cost of Gordon.

We have a team with a bunch of new guys learning Q’s system. They seem to have the beginnings of team chemistry. Joe is one of the reasons we continue to have chemistry, he is probably 50% of what keeps everyone together and laughing and he’s probably doing it despite coming off the bench this year. Who else does that?
Do we really want to get rid of the guy that probably gets Q and his system better than anyone else on this team even if the next guy appears to be more athletic? We have 4? returning players, a ton of noobs, and you want to dump one of the main guys that has to teach these new players how to do this already?
I don’t like it.
I’m kind of of the opinion that we keep Joe here his whole career then put up a headband statue and retire his number, so I might be a little biased.
