Nah, the more I think about it, I don’t see DL giving away the assets needed to pull off a deal for a Conley or OPJ (especially any requiring both Favors and Ricky) with both having real flaws.

The only thing I could see is a Mirotic deal but I could see others willing to give more than us.

Also not sure I'd go that far with our front office telling Lowe to mention stuff, but its likely true that we have made our best offer to Memphis and they can take it or leave it.

The FO clearly works closely with Woj. No doubt they do so with Lowe as well.

I’ve been as anti-cakk bakking as anybody here (that’s a term of my coinage), but I really think now might not be the best time for a serious move if OP Jr, Jrue, and Aaron Gordon aren’t available. All three of those guys are worth the risks, imo.

The downsides of parting with assets in virtually every other deal I’ve seen proposed outweigh the benefits.

The bad franchises seem to be active right now. They’ll desperately outbid us on any deal of Conley-size or bigger.

That's a lot of players but its not crazy. Works for the most part for everyone. And it keeps Davis away from the Lakers.
