Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Only extra thing we could get out of them really is a swap in 2028 and/or making their 2029 1st unprotected instead of top-5 protected.
Well then I guess it rests on how much stuff we could get for routing DLo to another team mixed with some of our other pieces.

I'm just not gonna help em. They may end up trading for Lowry but that has potential to backfire as Kyle is perpetually hurt or nicked up and is not as nice a guy as Mike. I could see Kyle actively being an *** to get up out of there.

If we do the Collins trade... my preference is Beasley/KO for John Collins/Justin Holiday (will re-route him) plus we get the right to swap picks with the Brooklyn pick top 4 protected. If we elect to not swap picks - say the Atlanta pick is 21 and the Nets pick is 25 and we don't see the difference as meaningful- then we can elect to take the Kings pick. Same applies if the pick somehow fell inside of the top 4 and was protected... in that case we get the Kings pick they own. The Kings pick has protections so its somewhat of a meh pick.

If it is Vando instead of KO price goes up.

The Mike for D-Lo trade would be incredibly interesting. Probably makes them better this year, but Mike is basically toast and they’d have no real way to upgrade him moving forward. Could be a great way to help our future picks

I missed that they were interested in Lowry, I’d say let them do that

Dude everyone knows those headlines and they are not reports about his personality.. they are headlines based on stuff he said behind closed doors in team meetings where you are supposed to be able to say stuff like that.

And he isnt even wrong. Trae was top 3 in dribbles per touch, average touch duration and average time of possession that year. No one bounces and holds the ball more than him.

Fyi, this is a report.
Today, Collins is known throughout the Hawks organization as this vibrant, happy person to be around. He’s the player the franchise goes to when it needs a representative at a community event or someone to shake the hand of some important figure.

Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk called Collins “the heart and soul of the team” on “The Jim Rome Show” last week. While Trae Young is viewed as the team’s best player, Collins is the emotional leader inside the locker room for Atlanta. He’s the one in the middle of the huddle prior to the game, breaking it down, the guy who’s unafraid to speak his mind, both good and bad.

There are none. All media posts.. Hawks boards... all claim he is a great guy.

Even if they could find a random dude tweet from 2018 that says so.. we can slap them back with 5 legit news articles that contradict it.
Show 5 legit news articles written by anyone outside of ATL that contradict that he is underperforming, not happy with Trae Young, is being iced out by his coach, is not getting the touches in favor of better athletes that also cannot stretch the floor etc. Don't include the homer articles, written on fan based sites either, who are perpetually trying to boost the Hawks players values.
Even you find some, I still don't buy this guy who was so good early in his career, and isn't at all the same player, has not either fallen off significantly as a player without his drugs, or is in fact getting the bad teammate treatment because well you guessed it.

I don't disagree with you. I don't think JC was the problem and he's unfairly gotten a bad rep for being "unhappy". But it's been a well known discussion point for years.
