Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I think that was one of the main assessments for Sexton as well.

I think proper coaching and preparation can help in this area.
To add a bit to that, I think most of us think Sexton is simply a microwave scorer off the bench and not much more and that he cant run a team as a full time starting point guard.
Well something I think a lot of us have noticed is that Hardy coaches Sexton more and harder than anyone on the team.
Seems to me that a simple microwave scorer off the bench would need the least amount of coaching. Pretty easy role to understand. Go in and put the ball in the hoop. If you are missing, keep shooting. Like JC with quin. Doesn't need much coaching.

The fact that Hardy spends to much time coaching Sexton so hard makes me wonder if Hardy sees a lot more in Sexton than many of us think is there. Maybe Hardy thinks Sexton is the pg of the future.

I don't think he sees Sexton as a full time PG, but he could be a very effective combo guard off the bench. My best guess is that this is the role he's being prepared for.

This is from last year but still applicable. Rui has upside still but I don't know if he can turn it around. A change of scenery could do him a lot of good potentially. He is at least a decent backup so if we aren't giving up much go for it.

I mean that’s what I see, at least in the absence of something better.

Ya that seems like it wouldn't require a ton of coaching. Certainly not the most coaching on the team. I mean that is kinda already what type of player he is and has been. Seems like he has that job down pat from the day he arrived.
