May be a sign they are trying to make it work with Collins. Got to think that means more touches for Collins going to the rim.

Like 3 days ago one guy from Squawk said they are working on a deal with Suns focused around Ayton. Capela was one of the pieces going to Phoenix.

JC wasnt in that scenario, but if they get a spacing 5 like Ayton they could move OO to 4 and JC eould become redundant.

I do think if you trade Conley you are going to be either hurting or slowing the growth of WK/Lauri (and everyone on the roster really).

I just cant see those guys developing as well with Sexton as a full-time starter.

I would only trade Conley if we are bringing in another pg or a really good trade overall. Trading away Conley also hurts the other guards development, especially Sexton. Dumping Conley to free up a little space next year isn't worth it. We are unlikely to sign a decent free agent without overpaying. We're more likely to trade Conley's expiring contract for a good player.

Any trade involving Conley needs to have Gay attached to it and no bad contracts coming back our way unless the draft pick attached is a good one which it likely wouldn't be.

It’s getting to the point that we have a good thing going , Conley mostly is a calming effect on this group .

I do get trading Beasley , and to a lesser extent JV if we get something worthwhile

I haven’t enjoyed a season like this for a while.
