Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I think the Pelicans are crazy if they dont make a move, a big move IMO.

Trade Dyson Daniels. Do it. Capitilize on the team you got now. Murphy/Jones/Zion/Ingram/CJ/Jonas should be a core that gets to the conference finals in this weaker conference.

Also think the Warriors are crazy if they dont do a big move as well. Steph's health for the next handful of years isnt a guarantee. Draymond might not be back. Go all the way the **** in and get Steph another ring.

I loved Springer out of the draft. I think we could get Springer and Thybulle for Vando. Haven't looked at the exact numbers, but maybe moving off of Spring would allow PHI to get into the buyout market and add one more player.
I think if they do Udoka/Vando for Springer/Thybulle it's even money both ways.

Alright... look... if the Lakers are dead set on not including any future first round picks... would you move Mike, KO, Gay for Russ a pick swap with the Philly pick this year and a pocket full of seconds. Lakers also save infinity tax dollars (like $20M this year) and they have salary to attach to their picks for next year when Kyrie gets traded there.

Gay has negative value obvi... Getting out of $30M+ for next year has value. The pick swap has value. Seconds kinda suck but whatevs. I also don't think the Clips deal will come together. We end up with infinity cap space.

It won't jump on Adam Silver's tank radar cuz we help the Lakers. We can sell it as Mike's chance to win a title. It is the ultimate tank move that many have sworn we wouldn't do... so DA zigs to keep everyone guessing.
I don't do the deal on principal. If you do this teams wont take you seriously when you hardball them. The only way they dont give a pick is if we take bad salary from another team and a pick and dump Duncan Robinson on them.

Im starting to get more and more convinced we ship out more than 3 guys. There are so few apparent sellers.

No rumors around some of the lower tier teams.. multiple clubs interested in Eric fkin Gordon etc..

Markets are so empty that DA will likely get his price point on multiple players and likely ends up selling more than I thought few days ago.

There are lots of ways to negotiate… I doubt Ainge loses any clout by bending and finding middle ground… actually might facilitate deals in the future.

If it’s a deal that brings long term value and it’s the best deal on the table… I take it.

I doubt they see Vander as a upgrade to Thybulle . Dok and Vander for Korkmaz and Springer and the CHA 2nd is what works for both orgs imo.

True, but that's only three games (vs Cavs, @Thunder, @Lakers) IINM.
Yeah I just was more asking… like I’m not sure he’s close… there will likely be a ramp up. They should be better either way now that BI is back and healthy.

Isnt the trade that got us the pick with BKN? Philly would have no ability to change anything here as far as I know.
As far as I know, pick swaps can be revised by the parties involved. We took over BKN position in the swap with the worst pick out of the HOU/PHI/BKN and Philly has the 2nd best spot. I believe if Philly and the Jazz agree they can change places.
