Curry averages 1 more rebound/1 more assist per game while scoring less/lower efficiency. Booker scores 1 more ppg on slightly better efficiency and averages the same number of rebounds and assists. Neither guy is great defensively either. So do they suck?

In 2021-2022 the only players in the NBA to average 25+ ppg and 5+ apg:
Donovan, Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Jokic, Doncic, Trae

In 2020-2021:
Donovan, Trae, Luka, Jokic, Lillard, Fox, Kyrie, Giannis, Curry, and LeBron

The only two players to do it in each of the last two seasons: Donovan, Jokic, Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Doncic and Trae

Not terrible company.

I also missed when Trae, Luka, Lillard, Jokic, or Curry were defensive monsters.

Again we just saw a team trade away 2 lottery picks to clear cap space for Jalen Brunson on a 100M+ deal and people act like Don isn't going to be valued around the league.

There’s been some griping about these Minnesota picks turning into late 1st rounders, and a few are probably going to. But…. Rudy is now on the wrong side of 30 and big men older than 30 tend to fight the injury bug more often.

I don’t wish injuries on any opposing players, but It’s not out of the realm that you see KAT or Rudy having an injury plagued season and then the other gets hurt and Minnesota decides to suck it up, protect their massive investments, shut ‘em both down and live to fight another day. Look no further than L.A. for a real time example of what that looks like for the Clippers as they endure the Kawhai and PG13 saga.

That was a swing and miss by you on anything close to an anwer. That wasnt the question and your argument might be for someone else.

I want to keep Mitchell if he is committed to staying at least a couple more seasons. If he isnt then you trade him for the best thing possible, he has decent value but we wont come out ahead in the trade.

But again Mitchell was really bad last year. Can he bounce back? Probably, but maybe not. He did not defend at all, he was historically bad in the clutch (maybe the worst ever in NBA history for that amount touches) and was terrible in the playoffs on both ends.

Steph won because he is a much better player and had good defense around him. We had good or better scoring options around Mitchell, we had an elite defender. We had no other defenders though and we had our star player choke really hard in the playoffs.
