But again it was stupid to make him play against Houston, min should have been on Sexton and Beasley.

He's actually only taking 10 shots a game this season, which is less than his previous 3 seasons with the Jazz.

You would think that if we kept him around 24 minutes a game that it would keep his legs fresh. It is definitely Strange to see him so inconsistent with his jumper though even when he has his legs. At some point he has to snap out of it because we know the guy can shoot.

A couple game shooting slump isn't a big deal, and doesn't take away from Mike being one of the best shooters last year and his whole career. I doubt teams are too concerned about it. I think teams are probably more impressed with his 9 assists a game and leading the team to an improbable record.

That said, I think Mike gets in his head way too much and loses confidence causing longer shooting slumps than others.

Probably not tbh. 25 year old wing/stretch 4 that is showing a whole different aspect to his game. I’d prefer to see what his ceiling is instead of trying to sell now. Still, if you think they’ll be hot trash, you have to consider it.

Those picks could be garbage, and Markkanen could be legit. Even with his health history, that would be a serious risky bet for the Jazz.

If the Jazz are able to trade the other vets, we can still "tank" and retain Markkanen. Meaning we will already have our complementary star in place when we draft, trade, and pursue free agents. I think you gotta keep him.

If westbrook wasn't involved then probably. Thats a tough one though. I, like everyone else, really like Lauri
 
I won't . I like Lauri, he is a really good players. Trading all good players just for an hypothetic good pick is not a good thing. Memphis was having a correct roster before landing Ja and Bane.
Trading vet like Mike or Beasley make sense.
