Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I do think we could play on teams speculating on free agency... the Spurs may think they have a shot at Lavine... but if they get Rudy they may think they become the front runners... and you get a PG Kawhi situation that pumps up the value going back to the team selling the star.

Poeltl, Vassell, #9 and Richardson or McBuckets is a pretty good value for us and leaves them with enough space I believe.

Spurs do need to think about sell high on some of their young players but would they do it is the question. They may feel confident that giving Johnson/Vassell big contracts won't backfire and they may be able to outperform their contracts. But they moved on from White rather quickly so who knows

Yeah I mean if they have Murray, Lavine, Johnson, Rudy... it becomes pretty interesting. Primo may be something someday. They may be sick of drafting around #10ish every year so pushing some chips in while they can (their cap won't be as flexible next year with Johnson and Jakob getting extensions).

Its either something like that or make Pop leave so you can actually rebuild... hanging out in the late lotto is no fun.

Possible NBA Champions

Also fixed it for the actual young 2-guard with potential.

Now send the Spurs another player and ask for #20 as well.

IMO, that consideration goes out the window if you have the chance to put Murray, Lavine and Gobert together for the next 4 years. That's three All Stars. Plus they have the young kid Primo coming up.

Among the Spurs, Hawks and Hornets, one of them will probably get Ayton, while the other two will need to bid for Gobert....unless Myles Turner somehow thwarts our plans.

nah, they'd probably go after Mitchell Robinson and Capela first unless we actively made Rudy available to them.

If the Jazz trade Rudy Gobert are they going to want to replace him with another big that dominates strictly in the paint or are the Jazz trying to open up the middle more if Gobert is the intended to be traded? Is it something we could do with our mid level allowing us to trade him strictly for wing players? Just a thought.

Bro, we've got Udoka. He's a first-round pick, and we've spent two years developing him already!

The Spurs don't seem like an exciting trade partner. I love the Primo kid, but he's still pretty raw. Vassell has potential too. I guess Lonnie Walker is a flop?
