Yeah, but I think we can figure that out cheaper than what he is due.We have no Center if we don’t take Capela back.

The only way that we can take Collins, Capela, and Huerter is if we include Bojan too.We have no Center if we don’t take Capela back.
We've seen the team in the playoffs with Rudy before Donovan...
Mark Williams is basically the same player and Mitchell Robinson is a free agent.Yeah, but I think we can figure that out cheaper than what he is due.

My stance on Donovan has generally be the same. I really love the guy. I always thought he needed to be the smallest guy on the court... whether that is as a point guard or a shooting guard. I always thought our ability to win a title is dependent on him becoming a two way player. Maybe not the level of Kawhi but on the level of Jimmy Butler. After the last 12 months my belief that he can be a good defensive player is pretty much zero. He may just not have it. I always knew Rudy wouldn't develop a jumper or be dominant in the post... so it was going to depend on Donovan. He's fallen short of what I had hoped he could be. Doesn't mean I hate him... but if he is going to be a one way player then the second round is really our ceiling unless we get the most amazing injury luck possible. It’s funny because I feel like you used to lean more pro-Donovan after the Clippers series especially and now you lean more pro-Gobert.
I'm not in the trade Gobert camp but I do want to trade Bojan while he still has value, as an aside. The only way that we can take Collins, Capela, and Huerter is if we include Bojan too.
Ahh yes, one year where he averaged 27 minutes a game. You sound dumber with each and every post.
For me, I’d need at least two rookie-scale players/1sts to even entertain the notion of trading Gobert. With regard to those types of future facing assets, anything less is a non-starter.Back to the thread
If the Hawks deal doesn't include Hunter, I'd need Okongwu.
Collins, Huerter, Okongwu, #16
Sounds like a you problem. That’s funny because I couldn’t tell with the way you post around here lately.
You'd be getting a 1st and Okongwu...For me, I’d need at least two rookie-scale players/1sts to even entertain the notion of trading Gobert. With regard to those types of future facing assets, anything less is a non-starter.
Whether it’s now or in two years at most, this team is going to be rebuilding and anyone that isn’t squarely focused on that reality isn’t dealing in reality. We need picks and promising young players, especially if we’re sending out a franchise pillar.

Which is why we find a third team for Capela. The only way that we can take Collins, Capela, and Huerter is if we include Bojan too.
