Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Hunter was balling in the playoffs
He played well in a series where they got curb stomped. I would not expect him to shoot 56%/46% for the rest of his career. Probably closer to his career averages of 44/36. He's closer to an average defender than a great one... he looks the part so he gets over-rated imo.

Trading Rudy also means we are possibly taking away our best chance of having another statue built outside of Vivint(or whatever the new sponsor would name the stadium). It would require hell of a convincing offer that's for sure

Hunter was the 4th pick for a reason, I think he can be a 20+ ppg guy.

Hell, they already did when somebody said we would have beaten the Clippers, or Nuggets, or Mavs if Rudy had an offensive game.
If we had lost because our offense wasn't working, then Gobert's lack of offense would have been a significant issue. We had a couple of good shooters shoot poorly, and our defense was wretched. Gobert posting up successfully doesn't change either of those things.

I'd prioritize okongwu over hunter but you would need at least one or both if you are trading Rudy

I feel the same way. I think Hunter's trade value exceeds his worth. ATL would be correct in holding onto Okongwu tightly, but if that's the case I think the Jazz demand at least #16, another 1st, and Jalen Johnson on top of Capela-Collins.

Culver was the 6th pick... Bagley was the 2nd pick... I think he's super average and I'd be fine getting him. If it comes at a premium or I have to pay him 20M+ a year... then I'm not all that interested.

Defensive rating isn’t a great tool? Why do Rudy fans always use it to show how great he is then?
Defensive ratings show how team defense improves/worsens when a player is on/off the court. Due to rotational issues, etc., there pretty noisy over the course of a season. The difference between the drop when Trae is on court vs. Donovan is on the court is almost meaningless.

Don't like Russell as player, but do like him as a trade target. Could potentially fetch a youngish player from MIN too. Beasley-Russell for Conley-Bogey framework? It's not horrible IMO.
I can't do it... I cannot have Russell, Donovan, and JC on this team... I can't.

$62M invested into Huerter, Collins, and Cappella for the foreseeable future. Yikes.

I'd rather send Rudy to Sacramento for Holmes, Barnes, and #4
Is that what sac is offering?
