Depends on which first, but hell yeah I would do this. Keldon is really good.Keldon is 22 years old, 6'6" 220 with a 6'10" wingspan, averaged 17/6/2 on 47/40/76 splits last season.

Saw that on a random account, but didn't see anything reputable.
If we're tanking, I could see the club just waiving him and calling it good, maybe a buyout if he really wanted out of dodge. You’re right. I didn’t see it from where I thought I saw it. I wouldn’t be shocked if the buyout happened, but I think Beverly has pretty good value even on a tanking team.

So...
That's the entire point, the Jazz are not going to actually facilitate Brooklyn, they just have to get New York to believe that they are.So...
How does Brooklyn get Donovan and multiple first round picks
AND
We get something valuable and multiple first round picks?
I just don't see how it's possible. If we trade Don, Ainge is going to want a load of picks and there are only so many poor Phoenix or Toronto or Chicago picks to go around. We would have to get a good player, but what's the point of that if we are going to rebuild?
I think the KD trade goes through Toronto and they get Siakim.

That would make sense. We have too many solid players to tank right now:What's the difference between trading him now or waiting 11 months from now in terms of draft picks? I think he plays the season with the Jazz and then they do something next year.
If we believe Don is a fraud then we trade him now, but.. he is not a fraud. He truly is an allstar. That would make sense. We have too many solid players to tank right now:
Bojan
Conley
Beasley
Beverley
Vanderbilt
Clarkson
NAW
Butler
And if we trade Don, we'll likely add even more solid players or at least young guys who should want to try to compete.
Now you can send him wherever you want(to whoever gives you the biggest offer). Next year he will be able to much more reliably threaten teams away from bidding for him because he will have one less year on his contract. In addition, if you try to retool you are very likely to lose value by going for win-now pieces instead of for long-term value. What's the difference between trading him now or waiting 11 months from now in terms of draft picks? My brother just read an article of Donovan to Toronto for OG, Trent, and 3 draft picks.
I say no. Toronto with siakam, Barnes, and Donovan is tough and those picks are worth beans. Why grab OG and trent who keep us relevant?
