Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

It's just ****ing weird to me the people most obsessed with being as bad as possible so we have the best chance at high end talent are also the people who are handwringing over giving up a late first or two for a high level talent w/ an unique and versatile skillset.

Lmao… I’m sure most of us would be fine with a Conley/Ball swap. In what ****ing world are we giving up 1 let alone 2 firsts for a dude who will be out the entire season? That’s bad asset management 101.

No it's not.

Y'all are legitimately dumb as hell for thinking a flyer on Lonzo's health isnt worth the 25th or worse pick in the draft. It's embarrassing.

Destroyed meniscus is worse than a crucial ligament tear. It’s worse than an Achilles tear. That **** only repairs itself in specific situations (reparative surgery and many months of rest), and he went the route of just removing the problem tissue. If he’s out significant cartilage in his knee, the body can’t heal that.

You, like everyone else, has no actual idea what is going on with Lonzo's knee.

Plenty of athletes have had unexplainable issues w/ their knees and they have recovered and come back. It's not end of the world, and even if it is, the idea that giving up the 25th or worse pick is not worth that gamble is completely asinine.

He took the shortcut surgery. He is permanently missing cartilage in his knee. These are anatomical realities.

I don’t know all the intricate details, but apparently SPECIALISTS don’t, either.

But sure, YOU know better.

I dont know. I have admitted that.

His talent level is worth the gamble. That's all I've said.

But yall want to hold onto a pick that will likely be the 25th or worse in the draft, and that player amounts to a NBA rotation player like 20% of the time.

Jimmy Butler and Desmond Bane and a whole bunch of good role players say hello.

You can also pickup good players on expiring deals with a late first.
The pick becoming Jimmy Butler or Desmond Bane is lower % chance at Lonzo having a relatively healthy career.
