Saint Cy, I always applaud when someone admits they may be mistaken. You did that, it is honorable, so I tip my hat.

The Jazz are like Vladimir Putin right now. Whatever they say publically, the opposite is true.On ESPN700 Andy Larsen said just because the Jazz are telling people that they aren't going to trade Clarkson, it doesn't mean that they won't. He compared it to them saying right after the season that they were going to keep Rudy and Don, then they traded Rudy. Then they said that they were for sure keeping Don and going to build around him, then they traded him. He said he thinks if someone offered an unprotected first, that would for sure get it done. Sounds like they shopped him before the trade deadline last season, and a little bit earlier this summer and just didn't receive a lot of interest from other teams. Basically, it sounds like they won't move him just to move him, but if the right deal comes along they won't hesitate at all to pull the trigger.
Thanks... I don't think he's worth a first, so I doubt he gets moved. I think what this says is they aren't selling those parts off for second round picks and the ability to have cap space. I think they need to clear one guard to help balance the roster and open up some dev time... but if they want to wait and see if someone gets wild for JC then go for it I guess. JC's contract size may make him appealing at some point... at best I think he gets a protected first but I'd be surprised. On ESPN700 Andy Larsen said just because the Jazz are telling people that they aren't going to trade Clarkson, it doesn't mean that they won't. Breaking news: Jazz would trade Clarkson for an unprotected 1stOn ESPN700 Andy Larsen said just because the Jazz are telling people that they aren't going to trade Clarkson, it doesn't mean that they won't. It may have been awkward... but I have a hard time thinking if we'd waited a few days that maybe phoenix ponies up a first. At very least make the pistons send a couple seconds if they want a deal before camp. They want progress more than we do... so I think it would have been an easy sell.man i hate seeing Bojan in a Pistons jersey Guy deserved a lot better
Yeah, we shouldn’t be trading anyone just to trade them.On ESPN700 Andy Larsen said just because the Jazz are telling people that they aren't going to trade Clarkson, it doesn't mean that they won't. Pistons trade Bojan at the deadline to Phoenix for their pick.It may have been awkward... but I have a hard time thinking if we'd waited a few days that maybe phoenix ponies up a first. I don't think Mike has any great trade prospects so I'd probably work real hard to sell him on a bench role if I was the Jazz.
False... see Gay, RudyYeah, we shouldn’t be trading anyone just to trade them.
*See: Bogdanovic, Bojan.
Their last offer was so bad that the right call was probably to hang up and block their number. That team is going to crash and burn this year and their management knows it. No way they are giving up a real first. It may have been awkward... but I have a hard time thinking if we'd waited a few days that maybe phoenix ponies up a first.
