The Spurs seem like a better destination. They are 9.8M from the salary floor at the moment.
The Warriors would be trading Wiseman for cap savings, $138M is a lot of money. Taking back Olynyk would raise their tax bill and they can't even do it either way.If possible I’d prefer to trade Olynyk to Miami for Jovic, rather than to GSW for Wiseman. Seems Wiseman’s not highly valued in GS. Dunno how Miami values Jovic though.
The only teams that can trade for him without sending salary back are the Jazz, Clippers, Thunder, and Spurs. The Spurs seem like a better destination. They are 9.8M from the salary floor at the moment.
Right...its a little misleading... they should absolutely move him in part to cover that money though. I thought a deal of Wiseman/Moody to SA for Collins would help them on court and in the finances.Just read it. They save 51M in salary and tax payment this year and 85M in salary and tax payment next year for a total of 136M over two years in salary and tax payment.
That's quite a jump to conclusions (I have a mat for that).no most people on here are like Peter in office space smh
Honestly cannot think of an easier way for all these tank hungry fans, to get their wish, than for us to trade THT and the 2025 2nd for Wiseman, and replace Kessler in the line up with him, meanwhile manufacturing injuries (if necessary) for Mike and KO the Finnisher and Sexton. Then mayb just maybe we can draft the next WIseman smhI don’t love the idea of Wiseman taking minutes from Kessler
I don't think they'll be huge buyers at the ASB because their season might go off the rails.I'm not necessarily against Wiseman if we create more room under the tax with other trades, but SAS just seems like a more natural destination. I suppose they could be buyers for Vaderbilt/Olynyk, but I'm not sure how much it's worth it to them to upgrade over Kuminga/Green. Our guys are better....but it's not a massive improvement or anything.
Would be interested in Moody if they want Vando and would also do Moody/Wiseman for Vando/Olynyk if they want to continue paying the big bucks. I like Kuminga but he seems very difficult to acquire.
What part of trading Wiseman for nothing saves 131M made you think they'd want to match salaryHonestly cannot think of an easier way for all these tank hungry fans, to get their wish, than for us to trade THT and the 2025 2nd for Wiseman, and replace Kessler in the line up with him, meanwhile manufacturing injuries (if necessary) for Mike and KO the Finnisher and Sexton.
