I just got a read on the next Lakers Woj bomb. Super juicy...

One of the assistant coaches had some acid reflux last night from the chicken fingers he ate. Westbrook gave him some antacid which seemed to help... although Russ was a little upset that the coach wasn't "grateful enough". Later they smoothed it over when the coach said "hey Russ thanks again for that antacid" to which Russ responded "no worries man".

Wouldn't you agree that based on DA, Zanik and Ryan comments.. value is the key? Nothing drives prices up more than shortage of supply... so I think the value will be better than I expected.

DA has to come down on some of his prices, but he is gonna milk it all the way.

I don't know we can get much. There are a few other teams with valuable assets they can maybe steal value from easier than trying to do so with Danny.
I think while the parity exists. it is a given we are willing to move our vets more than some others are ,regardless of playing the game of cat and mouse. Most other teams that are mediocre are buying cheap if they can, or not at all as they are pushing for play in games only. Seems so far most are not willing to give up good younger players. Most just want a shot at a playoff round upset.
We are kind of at a turning point given the age of some of our starters, clearly their careers are better served on a contender. But my guess is they end up being traded to middle of the road rosters like ours, if possible, that are ending their rebuilds or close to it , maybe willing to send a pick and just need some veteran help, as opposed to one's that are stacked with vets are already contenders because of the simple fact those orgs lack the assets to get them from us ,and will be more likely watching the buy out market or selling off vets blowing it up for picks themselves.
