Fanbases are trained to see the now over the future, especially when the now is players they've watched and grown to enjoy. The entire league was SALIVATING over that pick. We tried and failed to get it with Bogdonavich and Conley. Now we get it for Conley and the throw-ins from the Gobert trade.

This is an extremely valuable asset.

Why would I care how much Ryan has to pay? It is still expiring this year no matter how much is paid.
