the jazz traded four rotation players for a pick that could ultimately be a second round selection. if you don't think they couldn't have gotten that in October for those same players, you're up in the night. hell, if anything your point about firsts being so hard to get right now adds credence to the idea that they could have gotten more 4 months ago.

The Lakers didn't want any long term money, which is why they preferred DLo to Conley, doubt the Wolves were going to trade him in the summer time they were trying to chase a championship lol
