Trade SZN

He's better than Dunn imo... by quite a bit. He's paid too much. The issue with Bledsoe in Milwaukee is they have to play him and have no perimeter scorer. We could play him 20 minutes in the playoffs if need be and be just fine. He's the point of attack defender we lack and is phenomenal at it... in the same scheme we run.

A conley for Bledsoe and #24 swap is what I pitched earlier in the offseason. They lack the other contracts to make it happen at this point.
Dunn a better defender tho

I really like Dunn at the MLE. He brings a vital importance to winning in the playoffs. He is top five in what he does good. You can’t beat that for 10 mil. Plus he is young. He is the type of guy you stick out there to lock down Murray. Bledsoe would be better on the jazz than mike I think because he is bigger and less ball dominant. Would pair nicely with Mitchell in the starting lineup I think. A pick with it would be nice. But I like KDunn for the MLE

Dunn shot 26% from 3 last year... at $5-6M the defense is good enough that I'm cool, but he's not young (27) so don't expect improvement. If you think defenses ignore Ricky, Bledsoe, etc. just wait until Dunn is out there.

For the record, I was all about getting Dunn for a second-round pick and then using him situationally.... nothing surpassing 20min per game. He’s a specialist. I’m not using anywhere close to the MLE on him. If we’re talking about a guard you can use for major minutes, then Bledsoe is definitely far superior.

But we win that series against the Nuggs with Dunn. Well worth the 2nd it would’ve cost.... and that was obviously a very realistic trade scenario.

I think I'd rather have Jevon Carter for what he will sign for than to sign Dunn for what he will get. I think they are both 15 minute a night guys that will get most of their value from defense... Jevon knows he's a backup though and Dunn likely doesn't. I think Jevon will come for Neto/McConnel type cash and he can shoot a little.

Didnt Joseph Tsai pay like 2 billion dollars for a 49% stake in the Nets just recently? I dont think the cap and its casualties are much of a concern for them...

I mean, if it does happen I'm all for it. As long they keep the damn Lakers from repeating, it's all fine with me. I hate how the league and the media caters to the Lakers all the time.
