I recall someone mentioning it would Markkanen to get the 3 pick, but I don't think they were recommending it.

I’d probably be willing to trade the ‘27 Lakers pick to move up and draft Cam Whitmore or Jarace Walker. If the Jazz can walk away with one of those two guys (or Taylor Hendricks) to pair with Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler moving forward. . .
I’m still hoping they can flip 28 and a salary dump to get a third pick inside the top 20 this year. DA has provided the team with a lot of flexibility this off-season.
Given how the season went, I’d have gladly traded Vando, Beasley, NAW and Conley to get my preferred wing player in the draft this year.
