Travis Leslie:D-League Call up. WTH?

I love that the Jazz hosed Bell on the playoffs. HAHAHA
Bell hosed himself. The jazz tried to negotiate a buyout of his contract, and throughout the year, but Bell refused every offer till the jazz finally said screw you, and cut him, if if the rumors are true.

Lol... Bell did this to himself.

This doesn't make up for the last two trade deadlines, but hey atleast it is something.

If it means anything.....

Leslie was the 47th pick in the 2011. Draft.

It is strange a player with his length and athleticism wasn't taken earlier. Going by his college numbers, he didn't improve much from his 2nd to 3rd year in college. His three point percentage specifically took a dive down to 30% which may have scared off GMs. A SG without a 3 point shot isn't a very attractive prospect. He hasn't played much since college up until this year in D league so there is still a lot of unknown and potential it would seem. He is still very young, will turn 23 later this month, the same age Matthews was when he was signed by the Jazz. It is a very low risk, high reward signing, KOC does it again!

Ironically enough, his only game played in the NBA that had him getting over 10 minutes was against the Jazz when we blew them out last year.

WTH?

For those waiting for Travis Leslie signing, it hasn't happened Saturday.

Does this mean Leslie will be ineligible for the playoffs as well? Not that it matters, I suppose. He is unlikely to be an instant impact player.

This signing is for practice situations and perhaps to lock him up for next year.

Remember Miki Moore? He signed after the deadline but was still qualified to play for the Jazz had they made the playoffs. I think the same thing applies to this guy seeing as he hasn't played a regular season game for an NBA team this year. I would appreciate confirmation on this though.
