What if, and this is a hypothetical
The Jazz get Crowder and a trade exception from Boston in a S&T, use that exception to get Booker from the Nets.
I mean that would be all time baby. This new team would immediately replace the 2003-2004 team for my favorite Jazz team of all time.

I wouldn't say that tweet was amazing but I love that a former Jazz player shows us loyalty and basically threw Lyles under the bus. Perhaps I am missing something other than that.
If Lyles gets anywhere near Booker this season, I would love to be watching. Booker will leave Lyles without a spleen. Fortunately for Lyles, he won't be seeing anything other than garbage minutes.

I love Booker, but there's no way I burn a $24 million trade exception on a backup 4. Nets don't need cap space, they need assets. Better deal would be a 3 team trade if somebody wants Burks. That would be the contract to use to get Trevor Booker.
