Trevor's Foul on Love

Did you notice in the background in the aftermath of the Booker foul the trainer shoves Exum pretty hard after Exum started towards the court, then blocks the other players from the court.

Nice work.

No I didn't. I am quite thrilled with the bench work I am seeing during games. Saw something else last night as well.

Not sure what play exactly but it was the second half and the Jazz were on O. Something happened and Q, who was standing infront of the bench, turned to 2-3 of the Jazz players and used what happened on the court as a teaching moment. He called their attention to what happened and had the players nodding.

I am thrilled that stuff like that is happening.

I am beyond ecstatic with the new players we got this season.

Booker is going to be a fan favorite.
Exum is going to be a superstar
Hood is an awesome dude, but is smaller than I thought he was
Ingles is just a smart ball player

This team is going to be awesome sooner than we even realized.

How many more games is Ingles allowed to go 0-2 and not score in 10-15 minutes before we all start hating him? I like the way he plays, he makes smart plays, but we also need him to start making some good plays.

He's probably had about 5 practices with the team. I'm happy to give him a lot of time. He isnt a crucial piece.

Yes, but I also believe he had a +5 point differential when he was on the court. The guy makes good decisions and helps to set up good shots, and plays fundamentally sound basketball on both ends of the court.

Those are the good plays, get the ball to the better players in a good spot.

Am I remembering correctly that through the course of the game, Booker was on the receiving end of some of Love's elbows? This may have had something to do with that foul there.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Idk about that, but I do remember LeBron throwing a few elbows throughout the game (nailed Burks in the chest on the Hayward monster block from behind play)

The Cavs are soft.

Also, Booker is hilarious. I mentioned this during the preseason game against the Clippers (not sure if it was shown on TV) but as Booker was about to walk to the tunnel a few minutes after the altercation he raised his hand in the air to the Clippers fans and gave the #1 symbol using his pointer finger. It was awesome.

He also contributes in other areas. ..but it's not like he is chucking up high volumes. As he gets more used to his role and gets more confident he'll most likely start hitting some. It doesn't matter if they are smart plays or good plays, as long as they are the 'right' plays.

You don't have to hate someone just because he doesn't contribute in scoring for 10-15 games. The Jazz are playing team basketball and there are more shots that get missed in every game than the ones Ingles take so his missed shots are not the reason to any loss. As soon as he gets more comfortable with his new environment and team since he is a "rookie", I bet he will start scoring some clutch baskets with a legit shooting dynamic.

Aside from that, Ingles has the face of the little nasty Aussie that is fun to have around.

Come on Cy, you know basketball beter than that.
It is not always about scoring, can't be! (unless we are talking about sex.)
