Trey's 21, just like Deron during his rookie season (Deron was less than 5 months older than Trey at the start of their respective careers).AND a year younger than Deron was as a rookie.
It's also worth noting that the two had very similar free throw rates their rookie seasons, so maybe there's some hope Trey can bump that up in the future. The use of the glass, especially on floaters/runners, is really nice. Trey still isn't the best finisher or decision-maker on the fastbreak (this was a problem for him in college as well...at least the finishing part), and occasionally takes ill-advised shots, but dude looks like a legitimate NBA starting point guard. Very poised and competitive.
