oh. well one time they like him i heard. can't do that now i can tell.

NYC would have made sense, but they signed Lopez.
The Jazz getting a call from the Clippers makes the most sense.
They learn DeAndre Jordan isn't coming back and they panic, deciding to trade for Hibbert.
I just read a tweet that said "Clippers don’t realistically have the means to trade for Roy Hibbert unless they’re sending out some combination of Lance, Redick, Crawford".
The problem is I want 0 of those players other than Reddick, so the Pacers would have to take Lance (makes sense kind of but would be weird since they let him go) and Crawford (makes sense, but not Crawford and Stephenson). And they get Lyles?
Seems like a huge haul for just dumping a player you don't even want to be on your team. So maybe there is a 4th team?
Maybe that is the deal and the Jazz get George Hill and JJ Redick?
*Stephenson can't be traded with multiple players though*
Also just realized the tweet said combination of 3, so 2 of the 3.
So I guess we get Redick/Hill.
Pacers get Crawford/Lyles.
Clippers get Hibbert and a draft pick from the Pacers?
Not sure why we would want Redick with Hood our long term SG and Burks locked up. Hill would have to come off the bench for Exum?
As dominoes go, this may have killed our deal... not necessarily, but it could.
The question is "If Lyles is such a Jazz type of player - what other team could be so in love with him to want to this badly to trade for him"?
So if he is a jazz type player this means that other teams could not love him too?
If you were to say that Tim Duncan is a spurs type player, then other teams would not want him?
Finally, I think the idea is not that counterparty is in love with Lyles but rather a package including lyles and others.
Porz + Calderon for Burke + Booker + Lyles + pick/s
Well that party must have liked Lyles to a certain extent to have requested that he's included in the deal rather than another player (say Hood)?
