Lyles is going to be a great pick for us. He's so smooth, and fluid and makes everything look easy. There isn't tons of pressure on him to produce and I think like they quoted DL saying in the broadcast - this kid is going to be a stud by the time he's 21. As he adds strength, his dominance will improve. But there isn't much this kid can't do on the court. I cannot wait for training camp!!!

5-14.

Ugh.

Trey Burke part 2.

Love how easy it is for him to dribble the ball. Drives with ease.
Loved the pass to cooley.
Nice to see a three ball go in for him too

Dude is mobile af for 6'10". I think he'll develop nicely especially with this coaching staff. It'd be cool if he made a significant impact this season and I think he very well may.

Agree with most of the above. Even if he never turns into a prolific scorer he has shown other abilities. I want to see what Snyder & Co. can do with him.

I have faith.

We're kicking arse without our 2 best SL players.

If Exum and Hood were playing, would any of these games be within 20 pts?

Lyles looks good. I think we did just fine at 12 snagging Boris Diaw part 2

Give him a couple summers at P3 and a couple years development with our coaches and he's going to be very productive for us. Good find.

Lyles skill set at 6'10" is impressive. I'm not sure I've seen anybody at his size in SL who can put it on the floor as effectively as Lyles. His ability to dribble, stop on a dime and pull up makes that pull up jumper unstoppable - now it needs to start falling. He has to be at least top 5 in terms of passing big men in SL. Other than the fact that he isn't hitting shots, offensively for the most part he appears to have a good feel and plays older than he is.

Defensively, he simply plays young. He plays weak, seems to have a low defensive bball IQ, poor timing and even subpar effort at times. I think as he gains experience, gets stronger and understands the importance overall of defensive effort he'll be fine. He's long and moves well, so the physical side is there.
