Where are all the haters at now? The ones that feel they are more knowledgeable than professionals? BBy their own standards Lyles is an allstar because of summer league. I mean, if he sucks because he didn't play great earlier, let's hold the same standards that he's Lebron James Jr when he plays well

No I'm all for it, but reading the game threads its spewed as blind hatred for the guy. There's a difference between constructive criticism, and constantly degrading a guy. People are mad we didn't draft whom they wanted, so they look for any unfair excuse to put him down. It's being a fickle fan imo. This is summer league and he's 19, to say he sucks is laughable and tonight goes to show that maybe the FO knows what they are doing. To count the guy out, or to call him an allstar at this point is just overreacting.

Again constructive criticism is not a bad thing. I'm not sitting here saying Lyles is going to be great, but to act like a 2 year old that never got his baba, is fickle. It's sheer overreaction, and somewhat hilarious to think you know more than professionals. IMO is some sort of inferiority complex.

Not to mention more time to practice with the team. All the other players had been practicing together since the Salt lake Summer League. Lyles came in cold as the new guy. I think it would be natural to play hesitantly at first. Hope Trey can put in some time with whatever coaches are still around and perhaps do a stint at P3. I know this is vacation and/or national team time for most of the guys.

Pre-season will be a more telling indication. Then he's surrounded by better players instead of scrubs and inexperienced end-of-bench guys. He'll still struggle, though. And look at Burke; he had a fabulous pre-season last year and then reverted back to his terrible ways.

To be fair, he had his best game of SL, and still shot 7-19 (36%) from the field.

He finished SL shooting 23/73 (31%). We are still perfectly in the clear to complain about his shooting %s
