Love seeing that post **** with all the other perimeter skills. If Trey can punish smaller players after PnR switches, then that's a whole new weapon for us.
 
The kid has basketball smarts, plain and simple. I love how he plays the game.
 
He looks stronger and more confident. And only 20 years old. Smart kid. Lots of skills and physical ability. Getting better and better. Love it!!

I've always been high on offensive skill set. I also thought he would be a good player (not great) and would take a few years to get there.

I was (and am) on the fence about him being able to sustain his good play consistently this early.
 
I was very impressed with the highlights and then I discovered that he ended up shooting 8-21 and had 4 turnovers. I would love to see the "low-lights", so to speak.
 
Wow, he is BEAST. That move at 1:14 is pretty ridiculous. The way he moves shows so much speed and grace. He looks stronger than last year too. I said it last year, but I feel even more now that I probably wouldn't trade anyone on our team for him. His potential seems so high as a go to scorer.

Lyles' moves are very impressive indeed. He seems incredibly coordinated. His poor FG% for the game(8-21) came as a surprise to me and that's why I wondered about his "lowlights". Summer League is obviously learning time, so it is fine that Lyles is being assertive. On the other hand, before becoming a go-to guy in real games he may have to become a good role player - let's call it "The Kawhi Leonard Path to Glory" -, so it would be nice to see what he is doing wrong out there. :)

He's trying to run the offense as a point-forward with a bunch of scrubs he's never met before. He'll be better when he's flanked by Hayward, Hill, Johnson and Favors and he has a more defined role with more spacing. He's supposed to be pushing his limits in Summer League. What's encouraging is the range of skills he's showing. He won't be a primary facilitator in the regular season, but a secondary facilitator like Draymond Green is for the Warriors.

So when Hayward or Hood gets the defense to sag, they can give the ball to Lyles to run a second pick-and-roll or other action.
