True Love?

Well moe that was both uncomfortable and a turn-on. I haven't felt this conflicted about a boner since I found out that woman in the mini-skirt in the mall went to the same high school as my daughter.

so OB, are you saying that the most basic 15 year old guy move - trying to slide his hand up his date's shirt and undo her bra - is rape?

he'll physically man-handle you into submission -- rape

he'll reason you into a corner with his "logics" -- rape (emotional coercion is still rape)

Neither of these is "sliding a hand up a shirt". For one thing, I haven't met a woman who had a hand in her shirt and was unaware of it. It's still better to have consent, though.

Back in the day, many many years ago, when I was but a young miss, my favorite bra was one that hooked in front. The boys would be so perplexed when they'd artfully slide their hand up the back of my shirt and then end up fumbling around trying to figure out how to unhook it.

Sounds like they had your permission. Did anyone wrestle you down, or argue with you until you gave in? If yes, did you really enjoy that experience?

I think the word was (and maybe still is) **** teaser.

Teasing is great fun. I tease my wife regularly, and she teases me.

By making a lighthearted comment vaguely implying the use of persuasive pressure to gain sex you have delegitimized the pain and suffering, not to mention the social inequality, caused by rape.

In other words, you just re-reaped every woman who has ever been raped.

Deserving of rep.

The whole thing is stupid. But that comment seems to be out in left field.

Fixed.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Why because he talked your language of showing off the amazing fantastic brain cell production activity?

Because as a popular poster on a primarily male board, where many posters are so invested in rape culture that they think "Deserving of rape" can be funny, standing up for saying it is not funny takes courage, and a willingness to be made fun of. It takes less courage for me, because I'm not nearly as well-liked as Gameface, and so have less to lose.

I cannot talk on behalf of the rest since I'm unaware of how much they are into that rape jokes but seriously, do you really think I find rape funny when I write something like that? Isn't it obvious that I was just dropping a little drop of lame joke in there just because when it comes to you, you cannot resist. You think anyone that can take the funny path on a troubled matter is perverted or somehow find something good about rape?

Gameface was impersonating you...he doesn't really buy that feminazi drivel.
