True Love?

Fixed.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Why because he talked your language of showing off the amazing fantastic brain cell production activity?

Because as a popular poster on a primarily male board, where many posters are so invested in rape culture that they think "Deserving of rape" can be funny, standing up for saying it is not funny takes courage, and a willingness to be made fun of. It takes less courage for me, because I'm not nearly as well-liked as Gameface, and so have less to lose.

I cannot talk on behalf of the rest since I'm unaware of how much they are into that rape jokes but seriously, do you really think I find rape funny when I write something like that? Isn't it obvious that I was just dropping a little drop of lame joke in there just because when it comes to you, you cannot resist. You think anyone that can take the funny path on a troubled matter is perverted or somehow find something good about rape?

Gameface was impersonating you...he doesn't really buy that feminazi drivel.

"Hey girl, you should sleep with me cause the world could end tomorrow."

Apparently this is rape. Who knew?

There are all kinds of people find similar jokes about rape amusing. If you are not normally one, and did this just to troll me, so what? You were still speaking for others who did find it amusing, intentionally or not. It was worth a response, troll or not.

You can take a funny path on a troubled matter, and do it with sensitivity. One fo the more common approaches is to punch up, in this case, by making funs of rapists, rather than rape itself or rape victims. For example, Louis CK and Patton Oswalt generally do a good job of this.

Given the implied assumptions, it's an abuse of trust, and creepy. However, I wouldn't say that it was rape.

Would I ever use such a line? No...cause the only girls that would fall for that are stupid, and I'm not into stupid women. I'm also not into meaningless sex, but that's not part of the topic at hand.

However, it is emotional coercion, and you said that was rape. So either your definition is wrong/flawed, or you just admitted you were wrong.

I also don't think it's creepy, but that doesn't really matter either.

Where does persuasion end and coercion begin? Where does coercion end and control/domination begin?

It has to do the feelings of the person being influenced.

I suspect sometimes a woman who feels emotional controlled would describe rape as having happened. The man might think he persuaded her into the act. Or insert genders into whichever role you think is right.

It is not trolling. There are just these times that you use a letter shifted line just because it sounds lame and completely out of logic and gives a short laugh for the moment even though it is an unhealthy laughter which is a method the majority use in daily life with the vocal line pattern "more like...." . It is not that big of a deal until someone makes it into one by putting the unthinking harmless joker into a position with the assist of undeniable moral codes. And this carries it well far away from the main intension and grabs the focus of non-caring listeners to a more important possible problem of "hey this guy said something offensive. Let us bash him under the lead of that community hero and become morality knights for a few seconds".

And joking about rapists are more likely to feed them in a more sympathic appearance to the subconscience, saving them from the banished spot of unacceptableness.

It's not a big deal TO YOU. It was a big(ish) deal to me, or I would not have said anything. I'm not required to adopt your position on what is or is not a big deal.

Criticism of a comment is not bashing, nor any other sort of punishment.

Again, that depends on whether you are punching down or punching up. Telling jokes about Polish people being dumb never made Poles into sympathetic figures.

Do you think there is a difference between trickery and coercion? More specific to this distinction, do you understand the difference between using a line and "reasoning someone into a corner"? The second, at least to me, implies repeated exchanges and wearing down the resistance of the woman in question.

I accept you don't think trickery is creepy. Personally, I prefer that a woman finds me attractive enough that she doesn't need an excuse to do something she normally wold not.

For me, the first rejection is the only rejection I need. If the woman (in my case, my wife) changes her mind, she'll let me know.

Well moe that was both uncomfortable and a turn-on. I haven't felt this conflicted about a boner since I found out that woman in the mini-skirt in the mall went to the same high school as my daughter.

Lol
