He really has made a determined effort to rewrite history. I’ve mentioned before that, if he’s around long enough, he’ll change all high school history texts to state that he won in 2020, but that history shows the election was stolen by Democrats. This has been such a consistent thing with Trump, that I do find myself wondering if future generations will recognize the truth, or add Trump’s take to the list of conspiracy theories dominating the culture wars, etc, and somehow become accepted American history.

If, on the other hand, Truth and Justice prevail, and who can blame anyone for doubting that will ever happen, then future histories of our times will have to be along these lines: “Trump, believing in the “Strongman” theory of world domination, and rejecting the democratic principles and institutions of the United States, launched his first run in 2016, by laying the groundwork of the belief that only cheating and election interference by Democrats would cost him the 2016 election. This same claim was again promoted as the truth by Trump, in 2020, and his insistence that the 2020 election was stolen led to the attack on Congress on 1/6/21. Once back in office, in 2025, Trump made efforts to bake this false narrative, this 100% fake history, into the only narrative of recent American history of the United States that would be acceptable, from that time forward: the 2020 election was stolen, and earlier efforts to examine links between Russia and Trump, during the 2016 election, were also described as “a weaponized justice system”, weaponized by Democrats in order to destroy Trump, and Mueller’s investigation was in fact baseless. As was Jack Smith’s fake charges. And all the prosecutions that followed in 2025, against his accusers, were designed to punish these 2016 and 2020 injustices and lies by Democrats”.

Something resembling the paragraph above will have to be our understanding of the history of our own time, IF, that’s IF, Truth and Justice eventually actually prevail in our country. Certainly future historians will hone in on the truth of what happened in our times, regardless of any “official” histories. But, when Trump is no more, will his fake history still be the only accepted history? If so, then Truth and Justice failed. I’m of the opinion that truth will always prevail, but tell that to the Russian public, living in a society and under a government that only accepts lies as the accepted history allowed.

It’s very clear that Trump, through his words and prosecutions, is determined to rewrite our country’s history. To suit his rise to power. It really is one of his top priorities. It’s more important than almost anything else to Trump. In other words, destroying the Truth of our recent history is of the very highest priority to our fascist president.
 
What a lunatic. Threatening people who don't show up for work when they aren't getting paid. Oh no, The Rapist is "NOT HAPPY WITH YOU". Can't wait for him to die of the forthcoming stroke. Hopefully it's a horrible, long drawn out death and he's incapacitated for years ******** his drawers yet fully aware and suffering massively. And everyone will call it the most horrible death in the history of man, because Trump is the best at dying.

And where is this $10,000 "BONUS" coming from?

All Air Traffic Controllers must get back to work, NOW!!! Anyone who doesn’t will be substantially “docked.” For those Air Traffic Controllers who were GREAT PATRIOTS, and didn’t take ANY TIME OFF for the “Democrat Shutdown Hoax,” I will be recommending a BONUS of $10,000 per person for distinguished service to our Country. For those that did nothing but complain, and took time off, even though everyone knew they would be paid, IN FULL, shortly into the future, I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU. You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK that was only meant to hurt our Country. You will have a negative mark, at least in my mind, against your record. If you want to leave service in the near future, please do not hesitate to do so, with NO payment or severance of any kind! You will be quickly replaced by true Patriots, who will do a better job on the Brand New State of the Art Equipment, the best in the World, that we are in the process of ordering. The last “Administration” wasted Billions of Dollars trying to fix antiquated “junk.” They had no idea what they were doing! I know what he means. It was basically treason for the DEMOCRATS to fight for MEDICARE COVERAGE for MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. How dare they fight for people to have access to MEDICAL CARE. What do they think this is, a charity?

A new AP-NORC poll finds U.S. adults’ opinions of how President Donald Trump is managing the federal government have dropped sharply since early in his second term, highlighting the risks posed by the government shutdown and his efforts to reshape the federal workforce.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Approval of the way President Donald Trump is managing the government has dropped sharply since early in his second term, according to a new AP-NORC poll, with much of the rising discontent coming from fellow Republicans.

The survey from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research was conducted after Democrats’ recent victories in off-year elections but before Congress took major steps to try to end the longest shutdown in U.S. history. It shows that only 33% of U.S. adults approve of the way the Republican president is managing the government, down from 43% in an AP-NORC poll from March.

That was driven in large part by a decline in approval among Republicans and independents. According to the survey, only about two-thirds of Republicans, 68%, said they approve of Trump’s government management, down from 81% in March. Independents’ approval dropped from 38% to 25%.
 
The thing we MUST keep in mind is that Trump has dictatorial aspirations. He wants to hold onto the presidency for multiple terms under emergency powers to function as a dictator or sovereign for the country. To do this he needs things to be in disarray if not full-on chaos, to convince people that when he claims emergency powers that it is necessary to "fix" all the chaos he is creating. That is his goal. He does not want a stable economy, that goes against his goal to become dictator. He needs a rough and chaotic economy that he can then claim emergency powers to correct. He wants a pliable and compliant military who are used to interacting with the general population to keep people in line and deter protests so resistance to his dictatorship is kept to a minimum. That is the ultimate goal of Project 2025, establish fascist dictatorship that caters to the billionaire class and forces regular people to stay in line. Sound familiar? It should, Trump has been slobbing Putin's knob long enough to show his true colors. He wants what his idol has already created in Russia. That is the goal. We CANNOT let ourselves forget that or get caught up in the webs they spin to keep us tied up so we fail to address the real threat here, which is the worst existential threat to our republic and constitution since the civil war: a Trump dictatorship in the making. And worse, the possibility that it all passes to the heir apparent, Stephen Miller. He is waiting in the wings, using Trump's unusually strong grasp on the core of the republican party to orchestrate the coup and establish the dictatorship, then he can slip into the role of dictator when Trump dies. That will be the end of our country as we know it, and this threat is not a pie in the sky notion, it is ****ing HAPPENING in front of us.

I am glad the poll numbers show improvement. But if it does not translate into full on protests and VOTES, then none of it matters. The sheep bleats while being lead to slaughter, but no matter how loud it bleats, bleating alone does nothing to stop the butcher.
