Uh, you’re already seeing signs. Those who aren’t simply going to listen to crazy *** Donnie have resigned, retired or been ousted. He’s bringing in yes men in the DoD, Pentagon and such who will do what he wants.
I think we’re 50/50 right now if Biden is in the WH in February.

You should read empire by Orson Scott Card. It revolves around a sort of bloodless coup. Not his best work but an interesting thought experiment on how the US government could fall from the inside.

There have been less than a half-dozen departures, last I heard, and none of the military personnel. I don't believe the generals and admirals will cooperate with a coup, and it won't happen without them. Short of a popular revolution, we'll be fine.

This. It's a lot of noise, the media are doing all they can to hype it up to get the clicks and views, and Trump's team is waging a war of publicity and propoganda. But in the end there is nothing there. The biggest threat realistically is white supremacists groups inciting violence thinking they are going to have some impact on keeping Trump in office. To use one of my least-favorite phrases ever used in the media anywhere, it's a giant nothing-burger. Trump wants pageantry and attention, and this is his only way to keep himself in the limelight. But it is more hollow then a chocolate easter bunny.
I'm not seeing hype for clicks, I think there's genuine concern. Even Fox News are sometimes calling Trump out. Especially as of today the tide is starting to turn. Trump's a machevellian ************ though so it's good to see General Milley putting him on notice.
Speaking of violence, did you see there's a Million MAGA March scheduled for Saturday in DC and a F@#$ MAGA group also scheduling a march at the same time.

I don’t fear Trump staying in office past January. I do fear that his undermining of this election and further eroding the trust of our institutions will undermine the Biden presidency. Republicans and Fox News have zero incentive to even attempt to allow his presidency to govern. They can just kill it in its infancy and hinder our economy’s recovery until the midterms and 2024. The worse covid becomes and the slower the economy grows, the better for republicans.
And because of Fox’s influence and the anti-democratic setup of the Senate and EC, they’ll win.
