It’s true. But there were some stories in here that I’d forgotten about. It’s pretty crazy what people will say/defend to stand for Trump… or to get on teevee for 30 seconds.

Investigators found Nazi paraphernalia and memes promoting racially motivated violence when they searched Miller’s Millersville, Maryland, home and his phone. A photo found on Miller’s phone shows him posing and smiling next to a news story describing the drowning of migrants, prosecutors said.

Authorities also found a shirt that Miller wore for Halloween to dress up as Derek Chauvin, the white Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, a Black man, in the summer of 2020. Miller posed for a photo wearing the costume while kneeling on the floor. Chauvin pressed a knee on Floyd’s neck for over nine minutes.

I thought this was a good article on the media’s responsibility to report Trump as the threat to democracy that they all secretly know and say that he is. You cannot have a free press under the authoritarianism that Trump and the GOP desire. Give it a read and discuss. I think this is really a fundamental issue that is at stake this year.

Hence my position: want to save the planet? Then eliminate the humans! Nothing inherently fancy about us anyway. An anomalous virus that destroys entire ecosystems. At least covid left the animals alone. We're worse than covid! Let that sink in.
