He won the presidency. He no longer needs to troll or be divisive.

For someone already starting in a deficit for likeability and support, he just doesn't get it. Nor does this give any reassurance that he has the maturity or temperance to be POTUS. One of the best responses to his behavior came on Facebook a few days ago on a local representative's wall. It said, "If you don't have concerns about Donald Trump's behavior then why are you constantly having to re-explain to us what he actually means and demand that we show him respect?" It's true, at some point the GOP leadership is going to get tired of constantly having to deal with this kid's behavior.

So He better start delivering quickly on his campaign promises like Mexican walls and Appalachian coal. Because once he fails at these there will be no shortage of critics and "losers" wanting to get revenge. It will be open season on the GOP who will be tainted because of their support of this kid.

There will always be a segment of ournsociety that loves authoritarianism. It's always been with us. And it has definitely grown in the 21st century as the country... and the world... has seen an uptrick in gloabalizarion.

But trump also won in places like Michigan and Ohio that have been typically blue counties. If trump doesn't fulfill campaign promises there then these counties are going to turn against him. Trump might feel powerful today. But imo he's walking on thin ice. When the bottom falls out there will be no shortage of "losers" eager to extract their pound of flesh. So the more and more he alienates the greater the backlash shall be.

Throwing out unsubstantiable generalizations about the injustices that would run amok without guvmint to fix everything, and suppressing the public information about her own corruption. Obama has been the most unfettered, lawless sort of tyrant in our history, Hillary would have been worse. These cretins swim in the same elitist tank as the Bushes. Even Nixon was largely a Rockefeller asset but somehow got a bit unmanageable thinking the law didn't apply to him.

Trump has trumpeted the necessary anti-establishment rhetsoric that gained him the support of ordinary, largely non-political citizens, and there's enough of those people to make a difference, apparently. We'll see if he can swim with the foggy bottom aligators and still make a difference, but folks like you are just too comidtted to ideology, so you blind yourself to what you are yourself.

A complete moron self-deceived with your supposed better understanding of politics, which is a false ideal of supposed better management through more guvmint. Advocate for "progress" that strangely has the same implications for humanity as feudalism. Impoverishes the masses huddled outside the castle walls while creating a small elite surfeited with the best clothes, food, and wine inside. The "managers" who run things for them might be paid fairly well, but production of life's necessities gets less and less.

The Americans who voted for Trump were largely moved by economic reasons, feeling that opportunity for the American dream of middle class comforts is being destroyed systematically by bad government policies.

[MENTION=840]fishonjazz[/MENTION] yexs, i agree everything a government does is authoritarian. left or right. but thats why i am for limited government. if a government is gonna be authoritarian, i want it to authoritarian in a very limited sense. meaning stay out of marriage, stay away from freedm of association, don't monopolize and vilify self defense. dont force me to do **** and pay for others! etc etc.
