Part 1 of the video, there are 10 videos about 5-10 minutes each.

I would just watch the first 3 videos after that it gets loopy and really they run out of content so they just put movie clips and music ...

The videos are trying to paint the Taliban in a positive light, I don't agree with them but it does make me see the mentality of the Taliban more. I always thought the Taliban was like a source of ultimate evil like the Nazi's, Ku Klux Klan, and the Neo Conservatives.

I still think they are evil but I would put them one notch below Nazi's now which isn't saying much.

Also the women at the end of the third video was Yvonne Ridley. She was a British reporter who got captured by the Taliban and after she was captured she converted to Islam because the Taliban told her to read the Qur'an once she was out Alhamdulillah.
 
It must take a truly special religion to allow you to identify with a terrorist organization trying to turn back the clock 1600 years. But like you guys often say, Islam is the solution! :rolleyes:
 
terrorist aren't even in the top 10 of causes of (preventable) deaths in the usa.
but the us governments spends more on the war on terrorism then on preventing(finding cure) for the leading 10 causes of death combined.?
 
top 12 preventable cases of death(last year):
Smoking: 467,000 deaths.
High blood pressure: 395,000 deaths.
Overweight-obesity: 216,000 deaths.
Inadequate physical activity and inactivity: 191,000 deaths.
High blood sugar: 190,000 deaths.
High LDL cholesterol: 113,000 deaths.
High dietary salt: 102,000 deaths.
Low dietary omega-3 fatty acids (seafood): 84,000 deaths.
High dietary trans fatty acids: 82,000 deaths.
Alcohol use: 64,000 deaths.
Low intake of fruits and vegetables: 58,000 deaths.
Low dietary poly-unsaturated fatty acids: 15,000 deaths.

us civilians killed by terrorsit in the past 12 years? about 3000.
heck spend half the war on terror money on curs for cancer or aids.

this is just sad

It is not the US government's job to cure disease.
 
So,all that money that the US spends on preventing American deaths from terrorists is working? :p

If I die from any of those 12 preventable deaths then that's on me not my government.

But the government CAN and oftentimes does a fine job of funding and promoting the research necessary to make tremendous strides.

Regardless, it seems like you're fine with throwing away billions to make punkass arabs rich (who play both sides of this game. They jackpot around with their Taliban allies while playing the "good boy" card to us... While eating our money).

If repubs were really concerned with debt and government overreach, wouldn't they be demanding the closing of at least half our bases? Bringing the troops home? And spending maybe only 2-3 times as much in defense as the top 10 countries in the world combined?

Couldn't we settle for just a lil less in defense spending? Maybe, just maybe, they could become a lil more thrifty and efficient! It's amazing what a pay reduction could do to productivity and efficiency. Maybe those involved in the military spending could afford a toilet seat less than $300 bucks a bang!

Maybe... Just maybe.... the military has become bloated just like those "entitlement" programs that repubs are constantly ranting about. Meh, naahhhh! Couldn't be! We all know that all other government programs are corrupt and fallible and waste our precious money but the military is exempt! They never waste money! Never ever ever!

Just a thought.
 
It is the governments fault that the economy sucks and because of that the only option for many poor people is to join the army where they get killed fighting a pointless war.

Great. Retool military spending to make it more cost efficient and take the money that is saved and pay off the damn debt. Cancer and aids research is doing just fine. I'm sure the fed already spends millions funding said research anyway.

Perhaps you're right.

However, it doesn't bother you that Clown has to constantly bring up his religion as if it's THEE only church on the planet, and anyone who thinks differently is wrong? I don't know about you, but I get tired of hearing about Islam in completely unrelated threads from the same guy just like I can't stand reading about Bean and his Mormon way of life. Dalamon is a practicing heathen, and I actually really like to read his thoughts on his religion -- because he does it the right way and isn't a complete **** head. TBS is an obnoxious hack, and Clown is just as bad. Do you think either of them gets it? Me either.
 
I actually have lots of issues with the church. But my point is that those deaths are easily controllable.
