Regardless, it seems like you're fine with throwing away billions to make punkass arabs rich (who play both sides of this game. They jackpot around with their Taliban allies while playing the "good boy" card to us... While eating our money).

If repubs were really concerned with debt and government overreach, wouldn't they be demanding the closing of at least half our bases? Bringing the troops home? And spending maybe only 2-3 times as much in defense as the top 10 countries in the world combined?

Couldn't we settle for just a lil less in defense spending? Maybe, just maybe, they could become a lil more thrifty and efficient! It's amazing what a pay reduction could do to productivity and efficiency. Maybe those involved in the military spending could afford a toilet seat less than $300 bucks a bang!

Maybe... Just maybe.... the military has become bloated just like those "entitlement" programs that repubs are constantly ranting about. Meh, naahhhh! Couldn't be! We all know that all other government programs are corrupt and fallible and waste our precious money but the military is exempt! They never waste money! Never ever ever!

Great. Retool military spending to make it more cost efficient and take the money that is saved and pay off the damn debt. Cancer and aids research is doing just fine. I'm sure the fed already spends millions funding said research anyway.

Perhaps you're right.

However, it doesn't bother you that Clown has to constantly bring up his religion as if it's THEE only church on the planet, and anyone who thinks differently is wrong? I don't know about you, but I get tired of hearing about Islam in completely unrelated threads from the same guy just like I can't stand reading about Bean and his Mormon way of life. Dalamon is a practicing heathen, and I actually really like to read his thoughts on his religion -- because he does it the right way and isn't a complete **** head. TBS is an obnoxious hack, and Clown is just as bad. Do you think either of them gets it? Me either.
 
I actually have lots of issues with the church. But my point is that those deaths are easily controllable.

FWIW TBS, there is an absolute plethora of non-islamic ideologies that are staples of Taliban rule, and watching those videos did an extremely-poor job of proving otherwise. I am appalled that you posted this link, quite frankly. You'd be much better off trying to find a video that addresses how forward-thinking Islam used to be up until this century; would make for much better religious discourse than you posting this nauseatingly-biased video. I personally will never support, or try to relate with a regime that rids its people of staple human rights, and ill-advisedly kidnaps/decapitates fellow civilians in the name of their faith.
