Watson clear out on Fisher/no call = my favorite play ever. Haven't stopped laughing. Suck on that, Fisher.
I noticed he seemed to often beat his man off the dribble. He doesn't strike me as particularly quick, but there must be some reason why he has that first step.

This. Particularly after Fisher's ridiculous whining forced a stoppage in play for review on a ball he had clearly, obviously knocked out of bounds. It wasn't even close. Dude's "good guy" act is so tired.Watson clear out on Fisher/no call = my favorite play ever. Haven't stopped laughing. Suck on that, Fisher.

Until today, Hayward never beat his man off the dribble. The few times he did, he had the ball on the wing. He would recognize that his man was giving him baseline and he would take it. AK does this very well. It's an opportunistic drive, and you want to see that in a player.
Hayward rarely, if ever, drove. When he did, you would see him dribble toward the top of the key with no idea of penetrating. The main issue was he never used his left hand to take what most defenders give him every game. Tonight he used it very well. Teams will guard him differently if he keeps doing it, but being able to go right or left makes him very dangerous. I want to see more of this.
Refs actually turned the video monitor around and SHOWED him the play, and he still bitched about it. Pathetic. The whole Lakers team was whining but Fisher still was in the ref's ear even after they reviewed it
