Quite unrealistic for LT to lose 3 games at home. I think your better chance is to beat Serbia and hope they will lose their games vs Spain and LT.

I think the turkish coach is very inexperienced and he make too many mistakes, but he is a very professional sportsman. He proved it after poland game with his comments. He didnt hide behind referees or something, he just answered the question when asked about how bad were they. Today, he told, i think both team played bad, before game we wanted to pay attention to two points, first rebounding which france is very dominant over many teams and we did well. But we couldnt help with TOs as much as we tried. And we shoot the ball very bad. Anyway we could still win a game we played so bad, but right now we gotta forget this lose and immediately start thinking about Germany game.

But anyway i didnt understand why Emir tried to put the ball inbounds, it should have been Hedo

I think they will beat germany for sure, but i dont think LT deserves to be ahead of turkey in this tourney, they are a very limited team. Turkey should kill themselves how they are in this position with so many good players.

LT beat Serbia easily last year in Worlds. You really underestimating LT team, they are 5th ranked team in the world way ahead of France, Serbia, Turkey or Germany. Plus they play at home. Granted they do not have Kleiza this year but they got back Songaila and Jasikevicius which added much needed experience.

That's kind of the silly thing, though. That's still a scoring rate better than most of the players on Turkey. Maybe I have my homer goggles on too tight, but Kanter just makes plays and his presence is felt. His D is second-best on the team behind Asik and he plays it without making stupid mistakes most of the time.

How a team's most productive, efficient, and consistent scorer; best rebounder; and second-best defender can't get on the court is beyond me.

After you see Enes play, did your feeling change between the time he is drafted and now, you think we made the right choice to pick him?

Turkey has few better individual players, LT has better coach, home advantage and longer bench. Both teams lost only one game last year in Worlds vs USA. I do not see a clear cut Turkey advantage over LT. Could you explain what you mean by limited?

But its not easy to execute this decisions, then Ersan or Hedo should be out. So you cant play them together more than 10 mins a game. But i agree they would be more efficient together. But you cant just take Ersan out if he is on a good day, and you cant finish games with Enes , Omer duo.

After you see Enes play, did your feeling change between the time he is drafted and now, you think we made the right choice to pick him?

My thoughts on Kanter were more on the uncertainty than on whether it was good or bad. I certainly feel better that he looks really good thus far, but it's hard to say if it was the right call until this draft class is a couple of years in. While this level of competition is good, there is just nothing like the NBA so I really want to see how that goes down. My gut feeling is that comfort with the plays and his teammates is going to go an especially long way for Kanter.

I'm really interested to see how Irving, Williams, Knight, and Biyombo will be as well.

But as of right now, I think it was at least an okay pick.

If I was Turkey's coach I would bench Hedo and Ersan and every other perimeter player until they learned how to pass the ball to a big. Its pathetic watching Turkey bomb away from outside when the interior players are actually really good. Moreover, Hedo is a 3 regardless of his size. Rotate Hedo and Ersan at the 3.
