Yes, but winning today is losing tomorrow. Which do you prefer?
I prefer someone who doesn't claim to have knowledge of the unknown.

It's still dumb and delusional to say this:
In which universe is it better for him to win than to develop young talents? How stupid is the Jazz management in your opionion?
Whatever kind of black magic is going on behind the scenes for the last years, it's not about winning. It could be because they can't let vets get unhappy because they have to keep a good score with players to lure SOME FAs to Utah. It could be that they (wrongly) think that sitting young players early in their carrier might have benefits in the future(work ethic for example).
I really have given up on campaigning against Corbin and caring much, but these kind of posts......
You are correct. I did not check the date. I assumed that it was a recent post. My mistake.

False dichotomy. Corbin has been winning and developing young talents (in a way that has far exceeded most rational expectations). Jeremy Evans, Alec Burks, Derrick Favors are all proof of how foolish this three year long "play the youngins NOW!!!1" crying has been.

I don't want to disturb the emotional synergy between you two but if Corbin actually played his cards that way, those names you mentioned would be 2 years ahead of their current careers.
But I have to add that he is not the Devil's own in not playing young talent. There are many worse coaches with that character. It's just that he seemed to allow them some, because he obviously needed to show he is not a retard but also needed to show that he is not a retard by playing the experienced and expensive players and not playing the inexperienced too much. The Jazz kinda have this weird attitude that they don't wanna look like they're tanking, ever, and they find looking like tanking obviously; dishonorable, humiliating. It might be just a fantasy of course.
Prove to me that they wouldnt be better now if they had played more in the last few years
As soon as you prove that putting a young boxer in against Floyd Mayweather would do anything other than crush his career.
See the thing is that there is no way to prove or make fact that what ty did with youth made them better or worse.... its all opinion since we cant go back in time have him try things another way.
What i do know as fact is that i got more enjoyment from watching burks play basketball than i did watching howard, cj, bell, foye, or jefferson and since my enjoyment of my favorite team that i love with all my heart was lessened due to tys rotations, well im gonna be upset about it
Can anyone explain, in simple, realistic, understandable terms why any fan would believe this nonsense? Is our fan base really this bad at judging talent?
Exactly, which is why we use reasoning and logic, which tells us that players must first be able to handle simple things in practice before doing them at full game speed. It was more than clear that these raw players couldn't do many things in game the past couple of seasons. That they've developed largely through practice proves this route works very well.
I have always said that i understood corbins decision to play millsap and jeffy over kanter and favors....Exactly, which is why we use reasoning and logic, which tells us that players must first be able to handle simple things in practice before doing them at full game speed. It's been the ****s for three years. Why do we need to lynch the coach with strawman arguments for a bad situation that the organization built? Is he the fall guy for pent up anger at the Jazz by fans who don't want to accept their contempt for the way the FO has mishandled a ton of decisions?
