Don't get me wrong, I like the way you're thinking. I still think it's wrong to punish the "student athlete" for something the coach did. What you're proposing here punishes innocent kids for having done nothing. Should something be done to punish this harsher? Abso-freaking-lutely.

Maybe then the offending school has to fund scholarships for any affected students to any other university of their choosing. Double-whammy for not turning in the pervs.

That's still punishing the students but saying, here's this for you though. I think what happened with Penn state us enough of a lesson for other schools not to cover thus stuff up but time will tell.
