I used to not like the UB guy, but I can honestly say I look forward to reading his posts. They always make me laugh and think what the hell. Would be friends in real life.
 
Despite my earlier cricket joke, I will miss UB.
*mental note - Don't post pictured of whatever that was he posted.
 
Ok so I guess I am clueless (in more ways than one obviously). Why did he get banned? Can someone at least describe in "forum legal" wording what he posted?
 
He posted an image containing a word that is not allowed on JazzFanz. He was not, however, suspended specifically for that. After accumulating a fourth infraction within 180 days, an automatic 2 week suspension was imposed. A fifth infraction in this same period would result in permanent banishment.

Personally, I like UB. He's an entertaining guy. I like the board much more when he is involved. That being said, every forum member, upon signing up, agrees to follow the forum rules. A breach of this agreement can and will result in administrative action. Multiple actions result in suspension and banishment.

I understand that it's fun to get all riled up about the gestapo moderators and their random harassment of innocent posters, but really...

Edit: Oh, to answer your question, LG98 - UB posted an image that contained the "N" word. It was not used in a racially confrontational manner, but that word is a no-no in any form. UB knows this.

Bronco, I remember when you first joined jazzfanz like it was yesterday...such a sweet spirit and so happy-go-lucky. We got along, shared a joke or two. Truly a beautiful time.

Then you decided to become a moderator. Something changed in you. It's like your very soul has been sucked out of your body. Where has the sweet Bronco70 that I know and loved gone? I miss him Bronco...I miss him.

I say this with all due respect because I know that UB is a sort of cult figure on the board but I just don't find him as funny as his former self. Perhaps he's getting older and more chill. Or perhaps I'm getting older and more lame. I just find that now, compared to say two years ago, that he rarely posts and when he does, I don't laugh as much as I once did. It's like he was the 48 Hours/Trading Places/Beverly Hills Cop Eddie Murphy and now he's the I Spy/Norbit/The Adventures of Pluto Nash Murphy, trying too hard and somewhat awkward. Again, maybe it's just me. I still love and respect the guy. I just wish Eddie Murphy regained his old form and stopped acting so damned white and mature.
