This is such a stupid thing to say! You should have just come right out and said what it really means. I'm pretty sure a mediocre pick will be pretty mediocre.If the Jazz ends up even with the 5-6 range, I'm comfortable that they'll get their man.
I wonder how it would be if a lottery pick with a 10th or 12th pick would feel like this draft.
Anybody who thinks the Jazz are going to rise to the top of the NBA by adding a mid-level piece is crazy. We need a superstar, and the only way we are going to get one is through the draft. There are some guys with amazingly high potential available this year. We are in a position to get a great draft pick, but winning games like the one last night is extremely likely to bite us in the *** as this season winds down.
If Lindsey allows this tank to fall apart it is going to be unbearable to listen to people like you say, "Actually, I think we got a pretty good draft pick," while we watch Wiggins pull on a Bucks cap and Parker go somewhere hideous like Sacramento.
