What's new

UGLI baby not posting in the Jazz forum until Dennis Lindsey fixes this debacle

If the Jazz ends up even with the 5-6 range, I'm comfortable that they'll get their man.

I wonder how it would be if a lottery pick with a 10th or 12th pick would feel like this draft.
This is such a stupid thing to say! You should have just come right out and said what it really means. I'm pretty sure a mediocre pick will be pretty mediocre.

Anybody who thinks the Jazz are going to rise to the top of the NBA by adding a mid-level piece is crazy. We need a superstar, and the only way we are going to get one is through the draft. There are some guys with amazingly high potential available this year. We are in a position to get a great draft pick, but winning games like the one last night is extremely likely to bite us in the *** as this season winds down.

If Lindsey allows this tank to fall apart it is going to be unbearable to listen to people like you say, "Actually, I think we got a pretty good draft pick," while we watch Wiggins pull on a Bucks cap and Parker go somewhere hideous like Sacramento.

Dragic, Bledsoe, Tucker, Plumlee, Fry
has a record of 0.600 in the west.

The NBA is so weak this year.. Well this is what happens when ~30% of teams are tanking
Thank you all losers for taking the competitive spirit out of this once amazing sport

****ing THIS!

I would say more like top 4 or 5. Getting Smart or Gordon would be a big disappointment. The guys who are big difference makers are Wiggins, Parker, Exum, Randle and possibly Embiid. THere is a significant drop off after that.

The Nets and Knicks have little reason to tank because neither has a draft pick. Once Tyson Chandler gets back the Knicks will right the ship and start playing better. The big problem with the Nets is they can't stay healthy. Now Brook Lopez is out. I still think if they can keep everyone healthy they will turn it around.

The only team I worry about are the Bucks. They are our biggest challenge for the top spot. Having the worse record would be great but is not essential, if the Jazz can get a top 3 pick than they will be assured of one of the top 4 players. I am back on the Wiggins bandwagon and would love getting him but I would be ok with Parker, Exum, Randle or even Embiid.

It does worry me when the Jazz win on the road because I was only counting about 6-10 wins on the road so it is a little worrisome. However after this road trip and the March road trip we will be able to tell what type of team we have.
For those who wish for an eighth seed, shame on you.

I think the Jazz have to try and be competitive and still win a few games. I want the tank as bad as anyone, but we also dont want to be the worst team ever. It could cause harm to the psyche of the players. I was hoping we would start to get better closer to the end of the season doe. So its slightly worry some, but I have hope that it will all turn out ok. Im sure we wont be healthy all year long and we need everyone to even have a chance.

I would gladly take the worst record ever over a pick around #7.

How many dicks do you have up your *** to your brain? I said, a 10-12 range added to a superstar pick.

Might differ, I agree.

I think we all know the Spurs will give the Jazz the low blow they need to continue losing.
These few tough wins on the road are good learning experiences for the Jazz's young's though.

I really don't see how you don't include Gordon in the difference maker category, but I guess I'm a homer on him.

This. You still have to keep the players on the team happy and knowing they can be competitive. Worst record doesn't guarantee anything other than top 4, right?

Relax.

We play the spurs tonight and will face a pretty tough road trip until Christmas.

It's after that we might have to worry. The schedule eases up. Let's see what our health and record is like in a few weeks.
