Tell me if this makes any sense.
I would think that if Jimmer can succeed anywhere it would be here. He is a player that would want to be here, likely for his whole career. There is a chance he could have a role on our team similar to Hornacek's in the past. It may be a VERY small chance, but it could happen. He can shoot, knock down free throws, and make some awkward shots in the lane. He will sell a ton of tickets, and probably start a few riots in the street.
My question is could we trade Raja and our pick for Jimmer, and possibly the rights to for Sac town to swap their pick for the GS pick given that it is lower? Is this too much? Is this even a legal trade?
Keep in mind I am not trying to stir the pot by saying the Hornacek stuff. I know he could be a huge flop. Just trying to think optimistically, and hear your thoughts on my idea. That way we are probably giving up a potential 15th pick, and swapping thing may never even happen because Sacramento is horrible.
