Undrafted Players

Portsmouth Invitation measurement. Not sure how accurate they compared to the combine, but even if it’s an inch or two off, pretty dang good.

Because that venue is not nearly as important I’m wondering if there was a bad measurement or a transposition error. I’d be surprised if it 7’

Looks like a good player though

I looked up Mr. Haas on the interwebs. He shot .000 from 3 all 4 years at Purdue. Made himself a decent free throw shooter this year. His team won 30 games and made the NCAA tourney. He is also being sued for giving a Purdue student an STD.

Aside from chlamydia he also has pretty good hands for a big guy, just don't think he is mobile enough for the NBA. Also for a guy that big he should grab more boards by accident, he averaged 5 per game.

Any word on Deng Adel coming to summer league? I wouldn't be surprised if the other player DM spoke about to DL about was his old Louisville backcourt bunky.

I am a big fan of the big east and have seen Kelan Martin play for years. They beat Nova (the national champs) this year and Martin gave em hell that game. He's a dog. Scrappy player. 6'7" might be a generous listing for him as well. He's got some nice offensive potential.

According to Tony Jones we have 8 guys confirmed for Summer League. Haas, Bradley, Allen, Naz, McCree, Niang, WMU guard, Butler guy. I guess Grayson is the PG?

If you total up McCree's, Naz, Niang and Bradley's GLeague stats you have 4 guys hitting the floor that averaged around 18 ppg. That ought to be really competitive for SL.

They'll probably just have several different players bring the ball up and initiate the offense. Including Grayson. Just like the Jazz do with the main roster.

Probably want to test his pg skills in summer league, which is a good idea.

They have better scoring stats than most first round picks. And?
most first round picks are younger than them - grayson isn't. but its not really true of the WMU kid - Grayson's production is better. Martin might legit be a better player than Grayson - similar as a shooter, better rebounder, not as good a passer. certainly has better NBA size, grayson the better athlete.

That’s what I was insinuating.
