Mrs. Wells and I have iPhone 5c's with T-Mobile as our carrier. I have been with them for over three years and have really liked them. However, as anyone who has ever tried to call or text me knows, their service in good ol' Hurricane is absolute trash. I'm in the process of moving over to Verizon but tmobile is making me pay off the phones before they'll unlock them for us to use on Verizon's network. Lame. I only owe them $300.00 for both, but I'd really rather not have to fork out the money in order to use my phone. Something about it feels ********, like extortion or something.
I did some googling about how to unlock the iPhones, but most of it seems like a scam. Is it possible even? Does anyone have any real experience with anything like this? Any recommendations of sites or software? I knew better than to buy an Apple product; I'm reaping what I sow.
Where is Salty when we really need him? Maybe if I use a few buzzwords he'll come running?
