I keep hearing that, and it makes me sad, but I wonder why? I've heard it too much to discount it, but if he has any talent at all, with his cheap contract you would think there would be room for him. I wonder what is holding him back?Murphy probably being let go
hehe. you said 'goober'

Yep, except you forgot Carroll. As for Murphy, if they keep him, his contract becomes guaranteed. I think the Jazz would rather go with an extra SF until Marvin returns. And they can sign someone to a non-guaranteed deal, releasing him by the end of the year with no strings attached. They'll want to head into the trade deadline with just 13 players since we'd liking be taking on players without giving anyone back...that's the whole concept of having a ton of cap space available. It's kind of encouraging in a way because it means we won't really sign that many guys. Hoping for something like:
Foye, ****-tier PG, backup big.
Boom. Easy to 'tank' games just by playing the bench much like Portland last year, no worries of minutes not getting to the young guys.
Do people think McNeal will stick? Honest question
This post brought to you by UGLI baby
How will we sign Mo? He would have to take a contract for half of what he made last year. Or less.bet you he doesn't and we resign mo. but i'm a pessimist. too many good things have happened this offseason. somethings gotta give.

do we not have his bird rights?
I don't think so. I thought they had to waive them to make the trade with GS. I could be wrong on that though.
McNeal has not played a minute in SL. I can see he and the Jazz parting ways.
