What's new

USU at Utah 2013

Exactly. What kind of crank jolly roger operation is the UGLI Sportsbook running? I don't like that game to bet on anyway. Why would I take Utah State when the BYU line looks a lot more favorable? If you want to do college football betting right, you never bet single games. You pick 3 spreads or O/U's a week and try to hit at least 2.

Oh yeah, I usually bet on multiple games when I go to Wendover and that's for any sport. I only bet one game if I think a line is way off. That's rare for it to happen, but done it twice (once for an NFL game last season and a BYU game two years ago) and it's paid off nicely for me. I got Utah -3 and I think the line is a steal. I believe the line should be -7. I could be eating crow, but we'll see tomorrow.

That's the other thing I was curious about. What's the scoop there? You guys mainly going to have possession type WR's this year or is there somebody that has been lighting up camp?

The two main guys are Travis Reynolds and Travis Van Leeuwen. Heading into camp the receivers were pretty much everyone's concern, but there are actually some weapons there. There is a JC transfer Ronald Butler who is pretty good (word on the street is that he worked out all summer with Chuckie to get timing down). But the one receiver who could have a huge impact this season is Jo Jo Natson. He is only like 5' 7" but he is a rocket. There are also a couple of 6' 3" - 6' 4" guys who did well. While we may not have the star receiver this year, Chuckie will have plenty of people to throw to. After watching camp I'm not concerned about the receiving position at all.

Oh and though I know nobody cares.... I also wanted to bet on a game (can't even remember who was playing) that the favorite was favored by like 60 pts (I was taking the underdog) and vegas woild not let me bet on that game either. (Would have won that one too.)

I had the U on the record Florida State spread last year. They were favored by 70, won by 55, but the game got called in the 3rd quarter for lighting so all the bets were wiped away. I think in those scenarios you're essentially betting on the superior team's coach not being a dick and running up the score too much.

Where are the best places to park for the Utah USU game? Will be approaching from foothill drive.

Yup. That was the game they wouldn't let me bet on...... wow what a pt spread, can't imagine anyone would take florida state to cover

Nothing would kickoff this football season better than watching a lil mid-major who no one nationally has ever seen kick the Pac-12's *** tonight.

The best QB that no one outside of Utah has ever heard of is going to give ya'll a nightmare tonight.

...for reals though

best place to park is in a TRAX parking lot and take the train up

not kidding

but if you're going to park... there are a few pay lots scattered throughout, but most on-campus parking is reserved for season ticket holders with parking passes
