With that said, I'm a huge Marvin fan, and I'd love to see him finish his career out with the Jazz. He brings a lot to the table, and he'll only grow more valuable with the recent trends of today's NBA.
However, a player like Marv is more replaceable than a chance at drafting elite talent-- so you gotta deal with odds, and figure out what's best.
I trust Dennis Lindsey, so I'm not gonna overreact about this-- but on first impression, I would easily trade Mavin Williams for an early-20th pick + salary filler.
