It really didn’t change much.Damn it. Why did Utah screw the pooch against a Laker team missing so many players? Jazz created their own mess.

Today’s a big day amigos. My body has attacked me for choosing Houston tonight. My left eye is just gone...I think a kidney and probably my liver joined it some time during the night.

But that means we were counting on the Nuggets to beat the Blazers B2B and lose to the Kings, not very realistic, so it probably wasn't happening anyway. It would have kept the door open for 1st round HCA. That loss effectively closed it. That loss combined with Denver's cowardly throwing of the Portland game sealed our fate as the 5th seed.
Houston wins tonight we play Portland right? Well as long as we stay in 5th.
I feel so dirty saying this but Go Houston! Also that a loss tonight might actually be beneficial come tomorrow.Yes, if Houston wins tonight we can't drop below 5th and Portland can't rise above 4th, so we will be guaranteed a first round matchup with the Blazers.
Well God damn that's awesome. Go rockets!Yes, if Houston wins tonight we can't drop below 5th and Portland can't rise above 4th, so we will be guaranteed a first round matchup with the Blazers.
I would add....Here's my stat of the night:
# of times Utah has had home court advantage in the first round over the last two seasons: 0
# of times Utah needed home court in R1 to advance over the last two seasons: 0
Play to win or go home. None of this weak jockeying stuff.
