Beating the Rockets feels a lot more sweet than beating the Blazers.

Maybe this could be the perfect year: Carmelo was cut and no one wanted him, Wade said buh bye, Lebron missed out on the playoffs...the only thing we’re missing is a first round exit for the fourth horseman.

This is why losses to Lakers a couple nights ago and losses Hawks and earlier in the season Mavs by over 40 point bite....I know its just one game right?

Clutchfans meltdown. They are a massive fanbase, and due to our history with the Rockets they despise us. They'll turn on their own players at the first sign of trouble. This series has the potential for exquisite schadenfreude. JazzAvenues very well could produce his finest work.

There's no team I enjoy seeing the Jazz beat more than the Rockets, and that has a lot to do with the inevitable Clutchfans salt.

Seems right. Utah was injured well beyond normal in that series and Houston is somewhat worse this year. I don't see this as doom and gloom. ESPN noted Ingles stat lines in our Ws and Ls against them. If Ingles (or another SF) finds his stroke against them, we'll probably win.

Thank god for the Blazers deciding they wanted to go against a rolling Utah team over a struggling OKC squad that has a ton of injury questions. Not only do we get a favourable 1st round matchup but the Jazz get to lose to a much more entertaining team to watch in the 2nd round and the FO gets a real idea of where the team is at/who to keep and who to let go vs losing in the 1st round to Harden ISOs.
