Hopefully, all of the Jazz's 3rd-year guys look good again. Brice and Keyonte especially are going to be heavily featured this year. All three look like they're going to pan out overall.
Deadline to extend Walker is the 20th. It doesn't look like it'll happen.

If the jazz trade kessler then they better trade Lauri too. I mean if we want lauri to be a big contributor to winning in his prime/timeline then it makes no sense to trade away all the players that would be big contributors to winning while Lauri is in his prime/timeline.
Lauri, Kessler, Sexton, Collins, and some breakout young guys could potentially make some noise in the league.
Lauri and some breakout young guys, not so much.
I guess the jazz could always make trades to acquire good vets and use free agency to acquire good vets in a couple years but this rebuild and hanging on to Lauri and Lauri alone seems nonsensical.
This **** is stupid. Trade him or extend him. Now.

They say "flexibility, optionality, cap space". I hear "indecisive, scared, no plan".
Its just kind of weird. They had to know approx what the price was. We know they were offered the "Mark Williams Package" plus. If you didn't want to pay the man then the time to move him was then.
If new management didn't believe then move him over the summer. It just isn't this hard.

If you want to see some shirtless Jazz players. Also kind of interesting that every rookie contract player is in this video besides Walker. I guess he was too busy in Atlanta working on his 3 point shot
I think Brice is being a bit over-featured during preseason with Lauri and Flip out of the lineup. I think he's probably an 18 ppg guy, playing as a 6th man when we have a full team. He's at 25 ppg in these first two games.
The Jazz have played 3 of the better defensive teams, or at least teams with a ton of defensive talent, in each pre-season game.
